I love this product, but the handle broke off as soon as I picked it up. They sent me a new one, and it has been great!This is already making my scalp softer and less bumpyI bought this as a part of my hair journey. I'm supposed to message my scalp daily before bed (with my essential hair oils) and this does the job perfectly. I even feel relaxed afterwards. It feels so good on my scalp! It's much easier than using my fingers/hands. It's well made and priced well. I look forward to my evening message routine now. I've not used it in water/the shower so I can't speak to that.I really enjoy wood based products over plastic so I tried this scrubber out. I like it a lot and feel like it helps get my scalp really clean.I have small hands so I wouldn't say this is easy to hold. The knob is really big and I can't really put my fingers around it with my hand flat. I have to hold it by the knob to use.I noticed immediately the handle isn't finished properly so I can see the wood itself getting wet. (See picture with dark spots on handle) This will probably make it deteriorate faster than it would otherwise.It looks nice and works well but I will probably seek alternatives when this one gives way.Awesome product but only used twice and I went to use it again and it completely fell off.
