I enjoy all of M. Wrembel's recordings, so I'm not a terribly objective reviewer. As usual, this is a very enjoyable album--outstanding music, very well played. If you are a listener coming to this after "Gypsy Rumble," then you should know that this is not, strictly speaking, a gypsy jazz album, but the echoes are definitely still there in M. Wrembel's playing style.If you are a fan of jazz guitar trios, however, I don't think you'll be disappointed. The compositions are very well crafted, and the musicianship is superb.
