They're great for being on the water, not as much on the beach. I spent days cleaning sand out of the pores in the sole. The 9.5 I ordered have about 1/2" of space in the toe. I doubt the 9 would have fit in regards to width though. A small loop on the heel would help with putting them on.After a couple hours of wear, they smelled really bad. The combination of the shoe and lack of socks only exasperated the problem that is my sweaty feet.In summation, they look sharp, help up to being in salt water all day and have pretty good grip on the boat deck. I would definitely buy them again.Been 3 years and I still use these sneakers. They are very comfortable and dry pretty quickly. They are also well ventilated for this Florida heat and humidity.I would definitely buy these again.The best deck shoe I could find after a week of shopping. Does everything well. As a conservative guy I just had to get used to the bright colors--sort of clown like. But their functiinality far outweighs their potentially problematic colors even for a demure sailor such as myself.I do wear them, like most of my active footwear, with an additional arch support (Dr. Scholl's gel type).You will struggle not to wear them away from the boat!This is my second pair of 5.M shoes. The fit is exactly as I would expect it to be. These are very comfortable shoes that breathe, allowing your feet to stay dry & cool. As far as comfort, I've worn them throughout a week at Walt Disney World averaging 6-10 miles of walking a day and my feet are never sore or blistered. That is exactly why I purchased a second pair.Great trendy summertime shoe, more for being casual than wet as they don't dry very quickly when completely wet, but very comfortable with no socks when dry.I have 3 pairs of these shoes (various colors). They are very comfortable and have become my goto shoe for walking around Disney World - they are THAT comfortable and due to their ventilation, always keep your feet cool & dry. Sizing is accurate.They fit as expected and they are very comfortable. I have been aggressively race sailing wearing them. They show very little wear and they provide wonderful traction on wet boat fiberglass surfaces. I would highly recommend them to other people.Glad I had asked a question regarding size. Runs a little wide. I usually wear 9.5 but someone mention the shoe ran a little large. I ordered the 9 and as a boat show with or without a light sock fits greatVery good product. I normally wear size 10 dress shoes and dandles but when checked their size chart noticed that 44=9.5 so i ordered 9.5M/D and fits perfect (with and without socks) and are very comfortable. It does say Water Shoe but i am not sure if i would want to go in the water with them as the are more walking type and maybe if you got cut in a rain storm or step in a puddle then they would get dry quick.My husband likes these shoes very much.
