My boy is very picky. He's snoring like a baby after lying in this today. For people complaining about the finish and the dog ruining the surface, your best friend are baby crib sheets. I always use these on my dogs beds. Enjoy.Nice, sturdy build and quite cool to the touch, as advertised, but the cover is made of the worst material for a dog. My dog is not destructive at all, but he does like to do that "dog thing" by turning in circles and pawing his bed before he lies down. Well, this attached photo shows what the surface of the bed looked like after only 2 uses. The gross balls that you see are microfilaments that pulled up and snarled when my dog pawed the bed. Putting a sheet over the bed defeats the whole purpose of having a cooler bed for your dog. I'm bummed to have paid so much money for this thing.Our dogs still enjoy it but we purchased a different one as well that was much thicker. Wish we would have done two thicker ones for their joints but it serves its purpose at the moment. I don’t know that it will last as far as the foam inside and keeping its shapeI wish it was a little thicker but overall, my Bulldog LOVES his new bed. The coolness is perfect for him!Well the golden it was bought for won’t sleep in it cause it’s not by doorway where she sleeps, but the 5 month olgolden seems to enjoy it.Absolutely love that my dog loves this bedMy dog Alvin loves his coldest bed!!! Even when we have been sitting on the couch he now gets up to leave and use the bed instead.
