This is the second bottle of its kind that I've owned. I find it very useful when travelling.I bought it so I could fill it with water when I'm through airport security, and then, when I'm on the plane, slip it into the seat pouch in front of me. That may sound like a small thing, but I assure you, when you're jammed into an economy class seat for 4 hours, ready access to water without worrying about bulging seat pockets or bottles lost on the floor can make a noticeable difference to ​comfort.The bottle is also convenient to carry in a small shoulder bag when I'm walking around.My first bottle lasted a few years, but ultimately didn't survive when I dropped it on hard ground. I immediately ordered a replacement, because I find out so useful.The odd shape means you have to tilt the flask when it's near full. If you lend it to someone, or someone fills it for you, make sure they're aware of that.It's difficult to clean, so I would only use it for water.This design is by far the best I've tried for this purpose. There are similar bottles with a spout and lid that protrude from the body. You don't have to tilt them, but I found them to be too fragile for travel. I've also tried collapsible water bladders, but found I could not fill them effectively from some airport water fountains.
